GUIDELINES FOR STUDENTS

EVERY STUDENT MUST

  • Bring his/her School Diary to the School every day.
  • Come to the school clean, well-groomed and in proper uniform with polished shoes.
  • Remain regular in attendance and never come late to the school.
  • Attend morning prayers and other School activities.
  • Bring all the text books and the writing materials required for the day.
  • Ensure that his/her name, class, subject, etc. are marked on his/ her books, exercise books, tiffin box, water bottle, etc.
  • Be ready to pick up good habits and shun bad ones; learn the social manners and prepare himself/herself for healthy citizenship in democratic a society.
  • Participate in sports; learn sportsmanship.
  • Remember that the school is run for his/her improvement and growth he/she should and always be willing to respect its discipline and rules framed for the purpose.
  • Look after the School property; help to keep it clean and avoid all pencil/ink marks on the walls and furniture.
  • Keep his/her class room clean; throw waste paper into the waste paper baskets only.
  • Insist on his/her parents to sign his/her School Diary daily and also the Examination Report Card within three days of its receipt.
  • Observe complete silence in the library and follow LIBRARY RULES.
  • Bring BUS PASS/IDENTITY CARD regularly and follow safety rules properly.
  • Not bring valuables like costly watches and gold ornaments to School.
  • Be ready to lend a helping hand at home to parents, brothers and sisters; at School to teachers and companions.
  • Obey House Prefects. Class Monitors and other students on duty.
  • No leave from school during working hours unless the authorised person whose signature, certified by the parents in the diary, comes in person to make the request.
  • Cultivate, at least, one hobby and participate in at least two co- curricular activities in a year.
  • Play at least two games and learn all their rules.
  • Analyse and make a detailed study programme for himself/ herself.
  • Take help from teachers to learn his/her lessons well.
  • Read the whole question paper carefully, think and then start writing & follow the Examination Rules properly.
  • Be courteous, respectful to parents, teachers & other school staff, visitors.
  • Don't hesitate to contact the principal, if there is any difficulty.

 

GUIDELINES FOR PARENTS

Parent-teacher cooperation is essential for complete and harmonious development of a student's personality. To bring out the best in a child, family influences should help Inculcate in him/her the desirable behaviour patterns, healthy habits and positive attitudes in personal and social life.

Please, note the following points in the interest of your ward:

  • Please, countersign the remarks made in the school diary with the mention SEEN and advise your child suitably.
  • Ensure that your ward comes to school in proper uniform as per the specification and design laid by the school.
  • Advise your ward that he/she should come to school and observe punctuality of time regularly and should not miss the school even for a day, unless it is unavoidable. 'Leave- rules' should be followed and note should be entered in the 'ABSENCE RECORD' column in the diary.
  • It is vital for the students to do homework regularly. Be a resource person at home for your ward in his/her assignments.
  • No valuable articles should be worn by the student or should be sent with the student. Each student will be responsible for his/her own books, pen, cycle, tiffin box or any article brought to school. The school does not hold any responsibility for the loss of any personal article or valuable brought by the student.
  • Parents are expected to see progress Card carefully and ensure that their ward (s) make a special effort to study those subjects in which they are getting poor marks. The Report card signed by the parent, should be returned to school within three days of its receipt.
  • Pay the school fees regularly. For details read the 'Instruction for payment of fees.
  • Parents are not allowed to speak to their wards or take them away from the school premises during school hours without the permission of the Principal.
  • Parents are expected not to consult the teachers during school hours. Those who seek information or who want to make a complaint should do so to the Principal and not to the teacher. However, they can meet the Principal or the teacher on prior appointment.
  • Parents should send their wards to the school or to the Bus stoppage in proper time. They should also collect their wards from the school/ bus stoppage as per the timings laid by school. School will not be held responsible after their final dispersal from the school gate or Bus stoppage.
  • Please help your child develop all his/her potentialities by means of devoted and honest participation in the co-curricular activities of the school function and inter school competitions.
  • For a healthy and a purposeful interaction between the parents and the teachers, a Parent-Teacher Association (PTA)/ meeting is organized from time to time in the school. Parents, both father and mother, must attend the meeting as and when scheduled, to assess the progress of their child.
  • A minimum advance notice of 3 days in the form of a written application to the office is imperative for issuing any certificate Such certificates are, however, issued only during the working hours on the class days after verifying the clearance of all dues.
  • Please insist on printed receipt against every payment, you pay to the School. Parents should drop their suggestion for the improvement of the school in the "SUGGESTION BOX" maintained in school.
